We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Belgravia townhouse. Although we experienced a minor issue on our first night, the hosts were exemplary, immediately responsive, genuinely attentive, and quick to arrange assistance to resolve everything without disruption. Their professionalism and care made a real difference. The house itself is stunning: spacious, stylish, and exceptionally well equipped. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, and the whole property feels thoughtfully designed with guests in mind. The kitchen and utility area had everything we needed, making our stay effortless and relaxed—truly a home from home. The location could not be better. The area and local houses a peaceful, yet within easy reach of everything, The Palace and Big Ben are just 25–30 minutes’ walk in opposite directions, and there are lovely local shops nearby. For those driving, access to the A3 is quick. There’s also an excellent Japanese restaurant next door, and conveni park 80 yards away on-Go

Madestays was great, the place was clean and cute. One major problem was the very strong sewer smell coming from every bathroom. I would stay there again as long as the plumbing had undergone some major repairs. Although off the main road and quiet at night and on the weekend, there is a lot of traffic and noise during business hours making it hard to sleep past 8. Finally, and not a huge deal, the description was wrong in that there wasn’t a king bed with an en-suite and tub upstairs. All of that said, the host was nice and I would stay there again if the sewer smell was resolved.

This townhouse was absolutely perfect and the host was attentive and responsive. The location was extremely convenient to central London attractions, lovely local eateries and grocery stores. We stayed there over Christmas and the host set up a Christmas tree for us, complete with decorations. The kitchen was well stocked--which was critical for us when cooking Christmas dinner. The host pays attention to every detail. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to London! Not a criticism, but a word for those who have mobility issues -- the townhouse has a lot of steps. Bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen/dining/laundry are all located on separate floors. This was a challenge for us b/c one of us unexpectedly had a leg injury. But again, this is not a criticism, just our hard luck and something for others to consider if steps might be a problem. That aside, this place gets and thoroughly deserves a perfect rating! Thank you so much.

Madestays flat is tastefully refurbished. It’s very spacious with high ceilings, has very nice bathrooms, 3 large beds, lots of linens and towels, has a great well equipped kitchen and a nice sitting area for entertaining. The location is great and very secure. Madestays management company was very attentive and responded quickly to all my questions. The flat was ideal for our needs and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Quiet place surrounded by the ambassy of Germany and Spain. Very secure, we would appreciate to have more luminosity as there is no windows in the kitchen. Overall a good experience

We are very happy with our stay. The bedrooms are spacious and very pleasant having a meal downstairs with a beautiful window towards a little garden. We were in two families and it worked perfectly with two floors. It is in a calm area, but with shops, supermarkets and restaurants close by. I hope to come back soon and I do recommend it.

The location and property is amazing. Hosts were responsive and friendly. The only issue with this property is its proximity to the train tracks which could be a problem for people who are sensitive to sound and the fact that it has only 2 bathrooms could be an issue for bookings larger than 3 individuals. Other than that we had a great stay here.

My family and I recently spent our vacation in London, and staying here truly made the trip unforgettable. The place itself was excellent—clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location for exploring the city. What really stood out, though, was the host. Very distinctive, integrated location, close to all tourist destinations, and easy to access. Very suitable for families and large numbers. It has four rooms on each floor, almost a room. There is a medium level of disturbance from the neighboring train track, but it was acceptable and not disturbing for me.

Better than the pictures (ignore the basement courtyard) the beds were comfy the rooms were so spacious! There was a lovely fragrance throughout the hallway, had a beautiful homely feel and the team were SUPER attentive, the property was so light and grand and the decor was chefs kiss! Pros - really nice house, excellent beds, furniture, kitchen. Everything has recently been upgraded and is finished to a high standard. Great to have a small outdoor space and thoughtful amenities like fans and aircon upstairs. Location was great. Plenty of local pubs, restaurants and shops. Cons - this house backs onto the Victoria train station lines so there is train noise until late and through the night!! Our summertime stay meant we needed to have windows open for air flow. This wasn’t clear from the property description. We were lucky to have ear plugs with us to enable sleep. Wi-Fi was not strong enough to support basic functions on phones/ipads. Bedrooms could benefit from blackout blinds.

Very good property and close to all kinds of services. The house was spotless and Madestays' response was always prompt and efficient. There were very hot days in the city and they provided us with portable air conditioning and fans. We had a great stay in London.

One toilet didn’t work. Kitchen had a hidden drawer with the utensils. A/C was in upstairs bedrooms but nowhere else. Trains were adjacent.

The accommodation was very pleasant, large spacious rooms. What bothered us was that the fellow residents were very noisy and the communal door downstairs (that adjacent hall in the bedroom) closed with a lot of noise. Wifi was quite slow. But nothing to criticize about the stay and the host.

The area is nice and the property is comfortable. Surprisingly no instructions were available to ease our way in. The kitchen and bathroom furnishings were adequate, but we would’ve preferred some added luxury, such as disposable slippers and salt & pepper shakers. There were several glitches that could have been avoided. To begin with, we were given a different address, had to phone the host, and walk 15 minutes to the correct address with our luggage. Check-in instructions that came upon our request were stored on Google Drive and could only be accessed by permission. Learning the WiFi passwords required yet another round of communication. Sometimes it took the host longer than the 5-hour window given in the automated replies. The WiFi connections were very slow. The modem downstairs where the living room is located was worse; the WiFi quota did not support film viewing. Hopefully the management will make some adjustments soon.

I had a wonderful stay at this flat! It was stunningly clean and felt just like home. The standout feature was definitely the hosts – they were incredibly hospitable, providing fresh bedding when needed and even a new coffee machine. Their response time was impressively quick, making everything easy and comfortable. The neighborhood felt very safe, which added to the overall experience. My only minor issue was occasional noise, but earplugs easily took care of that. Highly recommend!

Staying in London for me is always about the location and Madestays place is spot on. Around the corner from Tower Hill. Despite being so central, it was really quiet at night. It is a lovely place to rest after long walks. Madestays was very approachable and helpful.

We did have an issue with the upstairs bathroom but Madestays was very responsive at 8pm at night and even offered to send a plumber that night to fix it. So easy to check in and out and the place comfortably fit 8 people. Would recommend this place!

Unfortunately our stay here was unpleasant. Didn't receive check-in instructions before arriving, so was on the phone to the host trying to obtain them. We booked for 10 people to stay but only had enough beds for 9. We flagged this immediately (3pm), but the host sent a flimsy foldable single child's bed which was delivered at 8:30pm that night. However, there was nobody to set it up with proper bedding or bring it up to the appropriate room. Someone arrived at 11:30pm that night which was ridiculous! Egyptian cotton bedding is on the listing which is false. Both showers on the third level leaked through the kitchen ceiling. Not enough towels for everyone and the place wasn't well cleaned or maintained. Rubbish left behind from previous tenants. The laneway itself was extremely busy and noisy. Garbage trucks collecting the rubbish from the shops and restaurants early in the morning, vacuum trucks pumping something out of the drains and general traffic noise. Wouldn't recommend.

Beautiful residence. But if you have adults in the residence, you must know the location of the rooms because there are 3 floors and the stairs are tiring for the elderly. The location is distinctive, close to a very lively street, and the transportation is not less than a 5-minute walk.

This is a quiet house in the heart of the city. The house is large and very comfortable. Getting around really is no problem at all. Communication with the team was also very smooth.

We had a nice stay! The couch was very comfortable, and the location right next to the tube station was super convenient. The bed, while soft, may not be ideal for those with back issues. The shower head holder needed some balancing to stay in place, and the shower floor did have a bit of a bounce when stepped on. Overall, these were minor things, and we still enjoyed our stay.

Just Book IT!! I was blown away by the place looking so much better in person than pictures. The property was in an amazing quiet location. The area is very high end and close to restaurants and shops all walkable. Very easy access for Uber pick up and drop off straight to the door. We were a guest of 9 people and the place was big enough to host all of us. The place overall was very clean with enough towels and toiletries for everyone. Madestays is the man!! They maintained a consistent line of communication with us and gave us local recommendations.

Phenomenal location: You can hardly live more centrally. The apartment is just 2 min away from the Tower of London and only 1 min from Tower Hill subway station. The furnishings are very tasteful and stylish. It has everything you need, including a washing machine with taps, which we found very convenient. Madestays is super friendly! If you want to stay right in the center, you're in the right place! Everything's fine!

The owner is very nice. We asked proactively after we checked in if I was missing any supplies? I replied if I could provide kitchen paper, and the owner didn't say I bought a courier and delivered it to me immediately, before and after 20 minutes, it felt good. There are a lot of restaurants walking around the house, less than 5 minutes walk there is a subway station where we come in and out almost every day.

It was a really good location right in front of the Tower Hill subway. It was really easy to come into the accommodation after traveling all day. The location of the accommodation felt very safe. There was a supermarket close to the house. The Tower of London and Tower Bridge are a 3-minute walk away. Our family had a very pleasant stay for 5 days.

Check in and communication was 10/10. Place is a bit smaller than I expected, but clean and location is good. A little loud in the alley, and no air conditioning (it is the UK so that's common). We did get locked out and Madestays was quick to get us another key which was great.

Madestays place was perfect for our first time in London! It was spacious enough for 2 (or 3 if you use the cot) and very clean. The Juliet balcony doors opening allowed for good airflow. The flat was easy to get into while still feeling safe. It's a 3 minute walk to Tower Hill, where you can catch most tube lines, and there are multiple other stations within a 10-15 minute walk. Being so close to the Tower itself as well as Tower Bridge was lovely! The flat was very conveniently located, while not feeling like it was in the midst of any chaos. There were plenty of walkable coffee shops. The bed was super comfortable, and the WiFi worked great. Madestays and their team were super responsive the entire way through. Definitely recommend for your trip to London!

The place was nice & clean and very convenient. I can walk to Kensington High St. in no time. The house was fully equipped. The light in the bathroom downstairs was a little bit unstable but the landlord sent the electrician to look at it right away for 4 days. The landlord was very helpful and reachable most of the time. I was travelling to London with my big family. All in all, my family were very satisfied with the place.

It is very centrally located to walk to Knightsbridge, Sloane Square and Victoria stations meaning several key tube lines are easily accessible. Madestays was an outstanding host. We enjoyed our stay. The home was bright and comfortable. It was conveniently located to many attractions that we were interested in seeing and is less than a five minute walk to multiple transportation options.

We were a party of 9 (3 couples and 3 children 15 and under) and this townhouse was perfect for us. It's an old carriage house with beautiful, original Tudor style windows on the ground floor. Inside, the home has been completely renovated and felt fresh and clean. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the showers had wonderful water pressure. The kitchen was large and proved to be a great gathering space for us. The home was also in an amazing location. One block away from Holland Park and two blocks away from the High Street Kensington tube station. This made it very convenient to reach all the London sights since it was both a Circle Line and District Line stop. Madestays was a wonderful host, always very responsive to any questions that we had. They also let us drop our bags off early on our first day which was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!

Had a decent stay at the Loft. We stayed for a week and Madestays was extremely responsive and accommodating, especially with an inconvenience that arose during the stay. The space was much smaller than expected from the pictures and relatively basic, but is a solid, safe place to stay.

Amazing location with lots of tourist attractions close by. Tube 2 min walk. Good pubs. Safe location. Apartment is nice. Bed a little too soft for us. Trundle too hard for daughter. Good water pressure and amenities.

An incredible apartment, located in a quiet, safe place close to London's metro stations and attractions. The accommodation is very well equipped to have a great stay, with defined and very nice spaces, just like the photos and the ad. Madestays was a great host, they were attentive and looked after us and our stay, they quickly resolved our questions and concerns. We would definitely come back to this apartment.

Madestays was a great host, the flat was very clean, everything was great. Had a little trouble with the heater but I eventually got it working and they responded when I had questions. Only thing was that there was not a dryer for my clothing as listed, I didn’t notice until I already washed some clothes late at night, but when asked Madestays responded and apologized that there wasn’t a dryer and offered to buy a drying rack. The heaters worked well and I was able to dry my clothes in the room easily. Overall, everything was very clean and I enjoyed my stay. It is in Harrow so it’s pretty far from central London, but it was cool to check out a new area regardless. Thank you Madestays.

Location, location, location AND a great comfy place to rest each evening! Tower Hill tube was just a block away as were two great pubs, and there were also innumerable, affordable places to eat within 20 minutes walking distance of Madestays. Their apartment was squeaky clean including a modern walk-in shower. The galley kitchen was well equipped and there is a TV in the LR and BR. My adult son slept on a comfortable cot in the LR affording us each some privacy in the evening to unwind. The building is very quiet and secure. Madestays proactively offered anything we found lacking (nothing) and responded almost immediately to the 2 questions we did have. It was a delightful stay and a location we will hopefully return to in the future.

The location is unbeatable. Close to everything; tube is 2 min walk. London Bridge and Tower of London is less than 10 min away. Tons of cool restaurants and pubs around. The flat is spacious and neat. The host was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay at this flat again when we are back in London.

The Loft was the perfect stay for my needs. It had everything I needed including a washing machine which came in handy. It’s not easy to find a new decoration apartment in big London area, and Madestays’ cosy apartment is few choices that I could find in Madestays, the layout is not typical family style but much suitable for short stay. Madestays is kind, polite and rapid response, thought we have issue of door key but they are willing to find the most effective way to solve. It takes about 1 - 1.5 hour to go to central London but it is not issue as London has bad reputation of traffic and is e get used to it. The apartment is good, only concern is outside noise may affect sleeping but we are ok with it, we recommend this apartment!!

The verification process seemed a bit long winded and tedious but understandable in the times we live in. The place is great and each room has its own shower/toilet. There are plenty of mains outlets and some with USB, which was really useful. Overall it was a good stay and would recommend.

Lovely stay at Madestays. Place was as described and well kept. Located right next to Tower Hill station which is pretty good for tube connectivity across London city. The nearest grocery is Tesco Express (not the best) and Sainsbury’s Local (better than Tesco) if you’d like to do some cooking. Building has an elevator so was useful as we had a kid’s stroller & a big suitcase. It’s pricey but it’s London and for the size and lovely upkeep of the space, I’d stay here again in a jiffy! Highly recommend!

A perfectly located apartment on the edge of the City of London. Main Tube station two minutes walk and surrounded by restaurants, pubs and go to places. Very safe feeling at night time and clean streets. The apartment itself was modern styled, has all the you utensils and mod cons you would need, be it a one night stay or a week. Two large screen TV's excellent internet and very secure. Madestays was polite, understanding, extremely proactive even before the day of travel and check in, and easily contactable via Madestays app within 30 minutes. Overall and considering the location and comfort, very good value for money. We will definitely return on our next visit.

Madestays was very easy to communicate with, accomodating to our requests and also responded very quickly. We did originally book another location - but due to water issues a few days before our arrival - we had to be relocated before our arrival. Madestays offered us a nice option and did not leave us stranded. It ended up working out great for us in a fun, central neighborhood. Overall we had a great stay and the place worked out great for our family of 4. We would book with Madestays again.

Madestays apartment is super convenient, close to both Tower Hill tube and Fenchurch rail stations and only ~25min to major museums/Buckingham Palace/Hyde Park area. It's also walkable to many attractions, including Tower of London, Tower Bridge, The Garden at 120 Fenchurch, Borough Market, and Old Spitalfields Market. The flat was easy to find, with great instructions on locating the keys, and getting into the building. The bathroom is newly renovated and was very clean. Overall, we had a lovely stay!

The place was very clean and as described. Madestays was very polite and helpful during my stay. I would book again if I ever needed a place. The sky windows don't have blinds so the light may disturb you if you wake up after sunrise. Also, there's no drying rack to put your washed clothes on, but I just hung them around on cupboard doors and drawers. Overall I'm very happy with my stay.

The apartment is in a great location close to the underground, restaurants and coffee shops. We felt safe and were always able find a cab. We had a perfect stay! Madestays always took care of what we needed and was very clear. We had booked another apartment that they had to cancel due to supply issue but they quickly rewarded us. Easy to work with and made the stay pleasant

This apartment was just as advertised. Clean, spacious, comfortable and cool (we were there in July). Host was very helpful and responsive. Just a block from a major underground station, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, safe clean neighborhood and building. Really nice apartment and stay - would highly recommend.

Madestays was such a great host. Love that they let us store our luggage as our flight got in early morning. They were also very accommodating once the cleaner left which was helpful since we had a tired baby with. The bed was extremely soft and both my partner and I were worried about falling out. There was no aircon but the living room door opened up to let in a nice breeze. The location was fantastic and the manager/front desk, Calum, was such a joy!

Place was as described, matched the pictures, We were pleased. Could do with a better fan. Did not like that they grilled us about our ages and before accepting our booking, fell that was a little cheeky! As we are varied with Madestays, and if they wants to rent to people of a specific age and occupation, they should make that explicitly clear in their description. Also, I did not like being bombarded with multiple messages telling us the same things. And because of that, they missed important enquiries we made about parking, I had to ask again days later.

Our stay at Madestays place was a mixed experience. PROS: the apartment is located in a safe neighborhood, within walking distance from many of City's attractions, close to buses and the tube. Hadn't we stayed in this part of London, we wouldn't have discovered Spitalfield market and some of the more modern parts of London, which were priceless. The apartment was squeaky clean and quiet and Madestays was a very responsive host. CONS: the sign in and out instructions were confusing (e.g., there was no second key but a penalty listed for not returning it) and there were many things missing (there was coffee but no coffee maker, a washing machine and a dishwasher but no washing detergent), there were no bags for the garbage bin, the lightbulb above the table was missing, and there was no AC in one of the bedroom.

I highly recommend this place and the host. Even before the dates of the visit Madestays was really helpful and responsive. The location is perfect. It's very close to a Tube Station and many pubs and London sights. The flat itself is very clean and really thoughtfully furnished. We enjoyed going out but it was also nice to come back to a clean and very functional space. I can't recommend this place and the host enough... it was a perfect stay in London. Thank you Madestays!

The accommodation is as tidy and modern as the pictures. Whether it was recently repaired and the facilities were all new. It was clean and comfortable. Even if we had a small issue, Madestays gave us quick feedback and was always friendly. It was very nice to rest because the area around the accommodation was quiet. It was a great place. It was a big part of good memories in London.

The apartment is in a fun neighborhood, and there are two coffee shops and a pub on the same block. It’s easy to get from the tube to the flat. The lift was great, too. The air conditioning was a plus, and there were lots of nice amnesties inside like the kettle. The only missing thing I needed was a coffee or moka pot or French press to make coffee. Beds were decent. Madestays was a very responsive and knowledgeable host

The flat is not a far walk from the Tower Bridge underground station and conveniently located (within a brief walk) to attractions like the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Borough Market and HMS Belfast. Madestays provided clear instructions for checking in and was responsive if we had any questions. The space was comfortable, despite a lot of noise from the hotel bars below. If staying in London, this is a great home base from which to explore the city. Madestays provided us a great stay and experience while exploring parts of the UK.

Madestays was very responsive and communicated regularly. The apartment is as described and clean. We did have an issue with accessing the property as the key code to the front door did not work. Madestays was very responsive and organised a locksmith to fix the issue but it did result in us having to wait until 18.30 to gain access to the apartment, when check in was at 3pm.

Booked this apartment as my son had to attend Homerton hospital in Hackney for test. Everything work out well, locations getting taxi or uber all good. Happy stay for 4 days. My son was happy so i am happy 😊

The Apartment was ideally located. Communication with Madestays was excellent. Just a small problem… the apartment is provided for four , a shame that our fifth person is due to sleep on a small extra bed and foldable a little too small for them. Difficult for them , which is almost 2 meters. This was not mentioned in the description of the apartment. Too bad. Otherwise the apartment was beautiful. Recommended

Madestays is friendly, easy to communicate, punctual and helpful. We loved the vibes of the neighbourhood, some very cool cafés and restaurants are walking distance to the place. The only downside of this would be the noises coming from the school next door. If not, overall pleasant stay at Madestays.

Good sized apartment in a great location. I stayed here while travelling to London for work and there was everything in the flat that I needed. Less than 20 mins walk to Cannon Street, 25 mins if you want to walk to St Paul's etc. Very close/within the vicinity of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. The bedroom could benefit from thicker curtains or blackout blinds, especially for the summer months. The bed has a soft memory foam mattress which I found difficult to sleep on but that's just personal preference.

We very much enjoy our stay in Madestays apartment. The location is safe and very near the tube making it very easy to access anywhere in London. The building is relatively new. The apartment fits 100% the description. It had all we needed, very functional and modern. Madestays was very efficient, clear and proactive in all communications, so everything was easy.

We had an amazing time staying at Madestays place! The location near Old Street station is incredibly convenient - it’s 2 stops (5 min) from Kings Cross and within 20-22 min max of most major destinations in London. The area is pretty quiet - very little evening rowdiness - but at the same time surrounded by great food and pub options! For those who like to run - their place is a convenient jog to Tower Bridge and London Bridge. Madestays was incredibly responsive throughout and left clear instructions for check in and check out. My only point of feedback may be to have some written notes on appliance usage! Some of the way the appliances work differed from what we are used to stateside so had to play around a little / reach out to Madestays to ask (but they were very responsive each time)

When you want to try out a new location in London, pick Madestays place. The neighborhood was vibrant and active without being loud and congested. The local eateries and services held a wide variety of interests and nationalities with easy and fast access to the bus system. We were not far from the retail and entertainment centers of Islington and Holborn- and could get easy access across town thru a short walk to the Elizabeth Line at Farringdon. Definitely a fun and relaxed side of town with a great location. The apartment was spacious and clean and tastefully designed.

A very nice place where to stay; clean, new, bright, we loved it! Decoration is also very nice (especially the photographs give the apartment an artistic touch). We also loved the lively nearby pedestrian road with small shops, pubs and restaurants. And the artistic surprise comes in the stair case as soon as you enter the building!

My family of 5 was so pleased with this apartment. Clean, modern, spacious, quiet. It was such a treat. Even the lobby and elevator were modern, but the building maintained its old world charm. The host was so responsive, too, before and during our stay.

Great stay - perfect location for us. Heads up for American visitors - there is no second half bath. Just a single standard bathroom with a shower / toilet / sink.

Joseh was helpful and responsive from the day we booked our stay. They sent clear instructions and advice, made up the spare bed for our son and even offered to send extra toiletries should we need them during our stay. They could not have been more helpful. The apartment is roomy and cosy just what you need after a long day of site seeing. Jumping in the super hot shower into pjs with a glass of wine settling down to a netflix movie was so nice. The location is literally a stones throw away from Tower of London, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast. I would highly recommened a walk down to see the Tower Bridge lit up, it was stunning. The underground station is also a minutes work giving easy access to the rest of the tourist hotspots. We will certainly return on our next visit.

The only thing I have to admit was the noise from the gym which could be disappointing if you‘re searching for a quiet space. The apartment was spotless and exactly as described. Very clean, very modern. Parking was not that easy and the doors have always fallen over, you had to put something in front of it to keep the room doors open. In room two, the window does not close completely in the bathroom and you have to mutter whether someone can see through it. But still, the accommodation was great, and also the value for money. Can recommend to anyone Madestays as a host and their apartment with a clear conscience.

Wow! What an incredible place! Spotlessly clean and in a great location to Wembley (which was the purpose of our stay). Madestays could not be a more attentive host, they ensured smooth check in and that we had everything we needed for our stay. From messaging a couple of days before to check what linen was required, to making sure we knew exactly how to check in and out they made sure this stay went super smoothly without any fault. Highly recommend anyone looking for a place with ample space for the family then you should stay here. The beds were comfortable and we all got a great nights sleep! Transport links are great also! Overall we can not fault our stay here at all, and want to thank Madestays for really going the extra mile for us and making our stay exceed our expectations. We will be back!

The property was in great condition when we arrived, and there were extra linens dropped off as well. Madestays was very communicative during our stay, which made the check-in and out process very easy. The apartment was steps away from the tube station, and walking distance from tourist destinations like Spitalfields Market. The neighborhood was also quiet at night and we felt very safe. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

The apartment was breathtakingly beautiful. The photos did no justice. Location was perfect and close by train station. Would definitely rent this spot again in the near future.

Very convenient location. Metro two min away. Surrounded by hotels so taxis also available when needed. Food options - one can grab street food by station/Tower Hill which is a block away or can walk 2-3 blocks for more reasonably priced options - other than that if need be one can use of the hotel restaurants or pubs in the area. Flat itself was clean, inviting and well laid out; furnishings and beddings were more than adequate. A single fold out bed with a super comfortable mattress was even set up for our party of three. Host was super clear in their instructions. There is a lift if needed to traverse the three steps from the foyer to the lobby. Easy check in and check out.

Madestays place was great. Comfortable unit with elevator access to flat. Located within a 2 minute walking distance to an underground station within zone 1. Major tourist spots were within 15-20 minutes by public transit. Close to grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. We had a slight hiccup during check-in, but Madestays was quick to respond, and the matter was resolved quickly. Madestays provides clear instructions and is very quick to respond. Overall we had a good experience during our stay.

Madestays was very responsive and the location of the apartment was great. I think we just got really unlucky as despite this, we did not enjoy our stay here. I had high expectations as the communication in advance of our stay had been so professional and the photos so nice but on arrival (we were ten mins early tbf) the apartment was still being cleaned and was super dirty, it was like whoever had been there before had hosted a party. The cleaner was using shower towels as cloths and left the dishwasher full of dirty glasses and dishes, the blind in one of the bedrooms was broken (which Madestays was aware of) so it was bright from very early in the morning. The key was left in a lock box which the housekeeper had changed the code on but Madestays had forgotten to update me so on leaving the apartment it was quite stressful as they were trying to ask me to stay to lock the box properly until they realised they had given the wrong code.

We felt very comfortable and right at home at Madestays apartment. The flat is in an amazing location, is very clean, well decorated, and well stocked. The bed was super comfortable and I had my best night's sleep in a very long time. Madestays is an excellent host, very responsive, friendly, helpful, proactive, and resourceful. We would 100% recommend, and have already decided we'll be back on our next trip to London!

We stayed here for our trip to Wembley. Drove form Manchester and the house wasn’t far from the stadium and had a parking spot which was ideal. House was lovely. Spotless and beautifully decorated. Madestays flat was incredible! Located a few steps away from Tower Hill station and right behind the Tower Bridge, mostly everything you could need is within walking distance from the flat. The minute I arrived at the building I was greeted by Madestays as they gave me a quick summary of the check-in process, followed by information on the very friendly concierge that works on the ground floor. Madestays offered their services continuously whether it was finding the right shops to go to, or even other things like knowing how to operate certain things within the flat. They were very responsive and never hesitated to get back to me on answering any question I may have had. The flat itself was outstanding, very comfortable bed, spacious living room/bedroom, bathroom was very clean. Featuring a 2-in-1 washer/dryer with extra sheets/duvet covers. We didn’t use the living room much, but it is very cozy. Will be returning to Madestays flat next time I’m in the city.

It was a good experience, and it would have been more comfortable if the quilt in the master bedroom was a little thicker.

Beautiful place, spotless, homely and perfect location (mainly for work) close to everything! Easy acces, flexible check in. It was just missing a baby high chair and long mirror for me personally, but host did provide a new baby’s crib on request. Was always very responsive too, brought some extra linen and duvets asap when we asked for it and once the building didn’t have water one night unfortunately (first time ever over there), they brought loads of bottles of water instantly and came to check and try to solve ASAP and came with suggestions/other options etc luckily it was solved the next late morning though so we could just stay. Would def check it out again if we have to come back for work!

Awesome location, a few steps away from Old Street station, with lots of great bars, restaurants, and coffee shops nearby. Madestays made it super easy to get in and out of the place (self check-in), it was clean with all the amenities we needed, and they were very responsive! Would highly recommend this place and would stay here again, no doubt!

Madestays is a great host. Communication has always been fast and efficient. The original site we had booked near Tower Bridge showed a leak before we checked in. Madestays accommodated us in an alternative apartment in another neighborhood of London (St Paul's area). We had some minor setbacks that were quickly addressed by Madestays. Overall it was a good experience.

Excellent flat in excellent location

When it came to my stay, Madestays was really communicative and accommodating. I originally booked another place with Madestays, though due to a water leak, this place was not available. Madestays was kind enough, to sort out another place for me to stay, which was closer and admittedly much nicer, then my previous booking. Everything was clean and tidy and very modern.

The place was centrally located and great for three of us to stay during our 3 day trip in London. More than anything, Madestays was a spectacular host. They were responsive and super accommodating in all aspects from before we checked in and all the way through check out. Everything was as described, and we had a very comfortable stay thanks to Madestays.

Madestays was very communicative and helpful. Apartment was clean and location, right next to Ozone coffee is brilliant. There’s a large school right next door - so you will hear a fair amount of daytime ambience but at times it shouldn’t really bother. Sofa in the lounge was workable for our third adult for sleeping but not really a sofa bed. Good stay overall for what we needed.

I stayed at Madestays apartment for one night with 2 friends and we had a great stay. The apartment was perfect. Literally 30 seconds away from Tower of London!!! Tower Hill station is literally next door with great connections around London. Madestays was really helpful throughout the stay and remained available through Madestays chat for any concerns or questions that we had. The apartment is very well equipped which was a massive plus! Too bad we couldn’t stay longer but will definitely be back! Thank you Madestays 😊

This stay was a mixed bag. The flat was as described, clean, warm, good beds, good showers and a good location for what we wanted. Jospeh was prompt on their communication but less effective in putting things right. For 350 night we would have expected a kettle, the spare towels and linen to be dry ( they were all damp) and to ensure the cleaner had left before we checked in. As a result of this the code number on the key lock was changed without us knowing until the following day meaning we couldnt leave a key for one of our group and meant we had to stay in the flat until 1pm until they had arrived. Madestays did eventually supply a kettle (4 days into a 5 day stay) and new towels (on the 4th day). Our biggest disappointment and not clear in the description is that the flat is right next to the sports hall of an all boys school. Even with the windows closed there is excessive noise, whistles, chanting, shouting from teams sport from 0830-1700 during the weekdays (when we were staying). This was extremely off putting. Ironically the flat is very quiet after 5pm and during the night and also presumably during school holidays. I would hope some of these issues would be addressed in time for future visitors, but if you want a quiet flat during a weekday during school term time you should be made aware.

The host, building and location are all nice. However, I was sadly disappointed with the overall stay. This property functions as if no one is checking up or maintaining it for months. It’s clean inside, however over half of the appliances do not work (including tv, microwave, stove, dryer, etc). The dishes are all badly stained and in need of replacement. One of the windows seems to need a major seal (or is just broken and doesn’t close properly) which lets in all of the loud noises outside throughout the night. The bed has the worst mattress (if one can even call it that) I’ve ever slept on in my life, so much so that I had to visit a chiropractor once I returned home. I would have slept on the couch but noticed there was flea spray laying around which made me a bit nervous. I was taking a bit of a gamble staying here because there aren’t many photos on the listing to give an accurate depiction, and unfortunately I feel it was a loss. For the amount of money paid, I would hope for better. Nonetheless, the host himself and the building concierge are very kind and accommodating; I just think I would had a better (and much cheaper) stay at the hotels nearby— which all give equal access to the Tower Hill station.

We stayed in Madestays apartment for 5 nights. Very good location — 150 from Tower Hill tube station. I actually rented this apartment because it is advertised to have “premium cable”. Unfortunately, the options wee the same as I found in every other rental with a smart TV. However, the next place we stayed in actually did have Premium Cable — including a full Sky package, etc. Madestays was adamant that their flat offers premium cable. It does not. Madestays kindly let us store our luggage in the apartment until 16:30 even though check out was at noon.. The bed is old. It needs to be replaced. Woefully uncomfortable. All and all the apartment is okay. Not a great value.

Stayed 3 nights in this lovely apartment and I have no complaints. Madestays was incredibly accommodating given it was such a last minute booking and they communicated very well. This apartment was so lovely and the location can’t be beat. It’s just a stone’s throw from the tube station and easy to access all of the tourist locations. It was very modern and comfortable inside. It’s a bit noisy if you sleep with the windows wide open but to be expected with city living. Madestays was very attentive and constantly checking in and available to help with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Pros: great central location, clean, modern building, ease of communition with the host, well stocked. Cons: I would say only the mattress in the bedroom. You can practically feel the springs. All together, a good value apartment in a very expensive area of London, in the heart of the financial district, next to Tower of London.

I stayed at Madestays place for 4 nights and it was mostly excellent. I'll address the slight issues below, but want to start with the positive. The place was clean and accurate for the listing. The location was excellent for easy access to The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Bridge and the east edge of The City of London. I lived in London for 8 years and it really is an excellent location for tourists with great transport links with the Tube stop being 1 block away. Madestays was extremely responsive and obviously cared about their guests being comfortable and having what we needed. I really appreciated their responsiveness especially with the couple of hiccups I experienced. I'd stay at their place again and recommend it for a convenient place to stay in Central London. There was a hiccup with the check in being an hour late - though that was due to their regular cleaner cancelling at the last minute. The check-out process wasn't immediately clear either given that I left so early in the morning. Outside of these areas, which I'm sure Madestays will improve, it was a good stay. I recommend that Madestays create a simple guest guide book with explanations of check out, how to use the appliances and recommendations to eat nearby. It's been a long time since I stayed in an Madestays and didn't have some sort of "guide book".

Very clean, comfortable place literally a minute’s walk from the Tower Hill tube station. Location can’t be beat. Check-in was a breeze, the owner is super-responsive, plus there is a concierge in the building to help with any questions. We would definitely stay there again next time we’re in London.

Madestays apartment was an absolute dream. A stunning modern apartment in a great location, minutes walk to the station and bus stops. Madestays ensured I had everything I needed during my stay and the apartment was filled with everything you needed, from a stocked fridge of sauces, tea/coffee, a washing machine, netflix etc. Callum the concierge within the apartment block was simply the most helpful and pleasant guy I've ever met. Really central location to get all around London via Tube and walking distance to the River Thames, Tower Bridge, Shoreditch etc. Place was bigger than the pictures display which was a nice surprise. Communication was fantastic and accommodated a few personal requests. Highly recommend.

Madestays was a lovely host with a lovely flat. They were extremely responsive and flexible with our needs. The doormen were also very friendly and helpful, making us feel like we were at a hotel with a concierge! We really appreciated the portable AC units in the summer and the quiet, safe neighborhood near Tower Hill.

Fantastic apartment by a great host who plainly just wants you to enjoy the experience of staying there. Location couldn't be better. Two of us stayed on business while attending a conference at the Double Tree by Hilton next door and it worked perfectly. For info, I made use of the sofa bed and had a good nights sleep.

We faced some difficulties with some sheets and towels that left, but Madestays was very reactive and immediately bring us what we needed. Flat is top located and very nice !
